LightTrans is going to exhibit at Photonics West 2014 taking place in San Francisco, CA, starting on February 1, 2014 (exhibition February 4-6). We would like to welcome you at our booth no. 4601-45 in the German Pavilion.
We present the latest achievements and applications which are available with VirtualLab™ 5. The major new features being presented include
· Spatiotemporal modeling of femtosecond pulses including the investigation of focal regions, pulse stretchers and compressors.
· Simulation and design of laser resonators including the transversal mode analysis and output power calculation for stable, unstable and ring resonators.
· Design of light shaping components for monochromatic and white LEDs based on micro-structured arrays of gratings cells, prisms and mirrors.
· Unified optical modeling with field and ray tracing techniques including interfaces to the finite element simulation tool JCMsuite by JCMwave GmbH.
In particular we invite you to our
· Product demonstration: “Spatiotemporal Modeling of Femtosecond Pulses with VirtualLab™”
on Wednesday February 5, 4.30 - 5.00 p.m. in Demo Area 2 (North Hall D).
Additionally several talks and posters are presented by the group “Applied Computational Optics” (Institue of Applied Physics, Friedrich Schiller University Jena) - a research partner of LightTrans. The numerical results being presented are based on VirtualLab™ simulations:
· “A brief analysis on pulse front tilt in simultaneous spatial and temporal focusing”, Site Zhang, Frank Wyrowski. 4 February 2014, 12:10 - 12:30 PM | Part of SPIE LASE.
· “Field tracing for simulation of locally-polarized light fields and fs pulses”, Frank Wyrowski. 5 February 2014, 1:40 - 2:10 PM | Part of SPIE OPTO.
· “Study on parabasal thin element approximation”, Huiying Zhong, Frank Wyrowski, Muhammad Ahmad, Hagen Schweitzer. 4 February 2014, 6:00 - 8:00 PM | Part of SPIE MOEMS-MEMS.
· “Efficient grating simulation for general incident beam”, Site Zhang, Frank Wyrowski, Jani Tervo. 4 February 2014, 6:00 - 8:00 PM | Part of SPIE MOEMS-MEMS.
